Published Feb 16, 2017Plenty of celebrities south of the border would have no problem describing the current political climate as an American horror story of sorts — so it's only fitting that Ryan Murphy's show of the same name is taking on the recent U.S. election in its next season.
Murphy appeared on Andy Cohen's Watch What Happens Live last night (February 15), and revealed that the seventh season of American Horror Story is set to get political. Not much is known about the upcoming episodes, and Murphy admitted that he hasn't chosen a title for the new season yet, but he did suggest that Alec Baldwin might have some competition when it comes to on-camera Donald Trump impersonations.
Cohen asked if there would be a Trump character on American Horror Story, and Murphy merely responded with a pensive: "Uh, maybe."

Season 7 of American Horror Story is set to start filming in June. Cast members Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters have been confirmed as returning stars on the show, which FX recently renewed through Season 9.
