Ariana Grande, Lizzo, Billie Eilish Rally Behind Planned Parenthood Campaign

The campaign comes in the wake of sweeping abortion bans in the United States, and the current administration's efforts to divert federal funds from healthcare providers like Planned Parenthood.
The campaign began earlier this summer with a "Bans Off My Body" video advertisement and accompanying hashtag campaign. Watch the video down below.
According to Planned Parenthood, "Musicians across the country are standing in solidarity with Planned Parenthood.... They're saying access to sexual and reproductive health care is about the same type of freedom that allows them to create music and speak their truth — because no one is free unless they control their own body."
In a press release, Billie Eilish spoke out in support of the organization:
I'm proud to be standing up for Planned Parenthood as they fight for fair and equal access to reproductive rights. We cannot live freely and move fully in the world when our basic right to access the reproductive health care we need is under attack. Every person deserves the right to control their body, their life, and their future.
This isn't the first time celebrities and musicians have come out in support of Planned Parenthood. In 2017, artists including Björk, Foo Fighters and Feist released 7-inches for Planned Parenthood benefitting the organization.
Planned Parenthood has launched a petition alongside the campaign with the hopes of gathering 500,000 signatures by January of next year on the 47th anniversary of Roe v. Wade.
Watch the campaign video below, where you'll also find tweets from several of the artists involved.
Following the launch of the campaign, artists and musicians have been voicing their support and concern online. Here are some of their statements:
Nearly 140 musicians have banded together to tell lawmakers: #BansOffMyBody! Add your name to the petition and sign alongside artists and musicians here: https://t.co/jJNOEHocfr pic.twitter.com/uIo8L9wrdf

To my friends and fans in the US. Our bodies are our own. If they are not, we can not be truly free. Or equal.
