Maestro Fresh Wes "Timeless" (ft. Divine Brown) (video)
As part of Black History Month, Canadian rap vet Maestro Fresh Wes is saluting a number of iconic political and musical heroes in the new video for his Orchestrated Noise track "Timeless."

To the tune of Wes's symphonic, violin-assisted hip-hop cut, we see the rapper start off by paying his respects to gone but not forgotten musical figures like Oscar Peterson, Whitney Houston and 2Pac. Maestro also discusses slavery and later on trying to make a positive impact on the world around you, while guest vocalist Divine Brown sings about our souls staying strong long into the afterlife.

The clip ends with this inspirational quote from the late Nelson Mandela: "What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived. It is the difference we have made in the lives of others, that will determine the significance of the life we lead."
